In a town without Cheez-its, every last one is precious.
|[Nathan enters from stage left looking especially pleased, He sits next to jon and talks to him about their previous meal.]
Nathan- Boy! That sure was some good possum, and can you believe we had entire box of cheez-its!
Jon- Yep, was perdy good.
[Nathan looks at the table realizing there is one last cheez-it on the table in front of him. He looks quickly from the cheez-it back to Jon. Deciding to confront Jon about the Cheez-it Nathan replies..]
Nathan- Wow, one last Cheez-it.
[They both look at each other then reach for the cheez-it.]
Nathan- What are you doing?
Jon- Getting the last cheez-it.
Nathan- I feel that cheez-it should be mine.
Jon- Oh really?!?
Nathan- Yes really!
Jon- Well I disagree.
[With rising passion]
Nathan- Give me that cheez-it!
Jon- It isn't yours!
Jon- [GASP!] You couldn't mean?
Nathan- Yes! Jon...
Jon- Oh no.
Nathan- I call you out to a gun duel!
[Scene transitions to an empty stretch of road. Both men enter on opposite sides in full cowboy garb. Both men are dead serious as they prepare to draw their guns.
Nathan- Ok then.
Nathan- Three, Two, One. DRAW!
[Both men draw their guns, then suddenly run down the road, around a corner, down a city block and into a house. They then run through the house, up a flight of stairs and into a bedroom with the same two chairs. Sitting down in their respective places the men get out paper and pencil and begin to draw. All the while the precious lone cheez-it sits in the middle of the room. When they finish drawing the two men show each other their pictures.]
