Do You Know Me?

a poem i wrote

You say you know me,
But I can't tell.
You say you trust me,
But how can that be true.
You say you love me,
But you can't prove it.
You say you'll forgive me,
But will you?

I can prove I know you,
By actions and words.
I can prove I trust you,
I'll hand you my soul.
I can prove I love you,
By actions alone.
But i can't forgive you,
When you leave me behind.
