It's all about love and dear old grandma

My grandma used to say,
“Love is never easy.”
I would cringe and ask
What’s hard about love…?

Many years have past
And I have grown to see
That though grandma is no more
Those words are still so true

In my grandma words,
Was wisdom through and through!
For though she was old,
She was once very young…

She had loved and lost
She had loved and won,
So when she sat to advice
Her words came out strong…
