Killers Can't Kill

I was hanging over the edge, and this is what I do.

I’m fighting a battle
The enemy so strong.

So scary.
So mean.
So dark.
So different.

It’s me.

Struggling from the inside out,
Keep it from spreading.
No one needs to see.

It’s my problem that
no one can fix.

This setback just keeps growing,
it will never die.
It will never change.

It will never kill me.
Because I am always changing.
