One Year

One year, everything has happened so fast.
I've told the truth and had my heart broken.
Even though some think of me as "immoral" or a "freak", I don't care.
I'm being myself, and doing the right thing.
Loving and living freely,
Without fear of getting found out against my will.

I may still be getting over that heartbreak,
I may still want to touch her,
To love her, to be with her,
But I don't regret anything.
I don't regret anything that has happened
During that one year.
