A Little Rush

I'm sure we all have moments like these!

After a great response to my last poem, I decided to write another.

Hearts thumping, adrenalines high
Body trembles, mouth is dry
Hair is static, shivering cold
Mind is churning, about to fold

Fingers twitch, eyes flutter
Sense is melting just like butter
Electric shivers down my spine
Stopping everything in time

Lungs jerk, ribs heave
All logic attempts to leave
Saliva morphs into froth
“All shoes, 25% off”
