Looking for a Long time


I have been looking for a long time
High and low
In a club
In a church
In a supermarket late at night
On the internet oh what a fright

But I haven’t found him
The one to rescue me
From my search
The one to bring my search to an end
The one to make me feel loved and cared for

Im tired now im exhausted from this search
I haven’t found him
I don’t believe I will
He just isn’t there
I dedicated too much time to this search
I forgot to focus on me
Im going to stop looking for what I have been looking for a long time and start living
