I wrote this poem a long time ago, its about someone special yet out of reach

You're like the sun
Your stare makes me warm inside
Leaves me with a golden glow
So far in the distance, out of reach
You'd burn if ever I got too close
Broke through clouds after rain
Brightened the sky and put fire in my eyes
The rainbow shows your true colours
You're like the sun
