"What," Bert looked from his cards, firing his eyes at Jeb.

"Do you know Jesus?"

Bert laid his cards on the table, sliding his hands to his side,

The bullet exploded from Jeb's colt, knocking Bert's head backward, his body following.

"Don't think He likes card cheats either" Jeb sneered.
