Freedom of an Angel

One I did for one of my many Role Playing characters. ((Oldie but goodie))

Dream of freedom, dream of heart.
Dream of love and let it never part.
Dream of hope, of life, of peace.
Dream of the angel that bought the lease.

I saw her sleeping in my arms,
never to wake forever more
I saw the choice she made alone
To give me life, so I'll live some more.

Angel of innocence angel of freedom
You're a slave no longer
Angel of faith Angel of love.
The Goddess holds you in her arms.

Sleep well, my darling, sleep well my angel.
I'll live the life you spared for me.
Dream well my Angel, dream well my Love.
My child's life will remember you.

Holding you in my arms at last, letting you go was hard
Holding the life you gave to me.
I'll never forget your freedom.
