Common Rose

Spur of the moment thought i wrote down on my trusty note book, about the diminished rose

"Roses aren't red, such theories aren't true" Or Common Rose

I could not write about a rose or any such fashioned affair;
I may liken an idea to a rose, but I find it unlikely that would ever be...
For it is only red, next to blue, both values unpronounced and unpretentious.
We want only innocent red, not the graceless bitter thorns of its stem;
In the Green of Nature, constant and equal to the Mother's ordained law.
But you immortalized rose, are diminished, show your true colour next bloom.
