Construction Crew

"A successful person is one who can lay a firm foundation with the bricks that others throw at him or her."

I want to build a fireplace, throw your thoughts like soaring lead
As advice from a truthful stranger, is not for or against
And such invaluable resources I could never make myself.
You ever craft the hardiest stones for my hearth
A place for my fire to sit and stir, enlightening all
Ever each following blaze is enriched by your genuine thought
This humble poet thanks you for that grand honesty
It has helped me build further the flame.
