I may be unsturdy
I may be insecure
I may give up too early
I may hold on too long
I may change my mind in a minute
I may change my heart in a day
I may change my direction
But I'll never change my way

This is me
This is the way I'm gona be
I'm gona fly with my dreams
I'm gona cry,
I'm gona scream
I'm gona keep the peace
I'm gona make a scene
Ya this is me

I'm crazy like my mother
free willed and have her heart
I'm stubborn like my father
And I'm willing to work hard
I refuse to be a shadow
But I'm open to advice
I hold on to my opinion
But I keep an open mind
This is me

I dream more than I live
I think more than I speak
I can tell you what I need
But I can't show you what I feel
I may not always trust
I may not open up
But I'm never a fake
And I try not to prejudge

I'm polite and show respect
I care and I show love
I work for what I want
I fall and I screw up
I'm happy as I am
So don't try to change a thing
This is all I am
