When words dance...thoughts after hearing a friend's poem.
Her carefully wrought words
lifted off velum:
Rising to dance
upon the ear
and
tease at the mind's very heart.
Trailing letters
and apostrophes,
the envisioned images
inhale color
and like a ripe tomato
burst at the seams.
