Hide No More

I got to thinking and just started writing and this is what came out on to the paper.

Lessons learned
The dark secrets
Can't hide much longer
Like the screams from the distant
Silence eventually heard
So will the past that haunts you

Hide no more
Emerge from your cocoon of lies
And take flight
Heed the screams of the haunting past
And return to the darkness
from which you came

Death lies in your wake
Destruction is all you bring
Crushing the dreams of so many
Hide no more
Show your true self
To those that you deceive
