A journey...

Time to awaken!
A first breath is taken.
New eyes open,
First words are spoken.
Memories imprinted, burned -
Many lessons there are to be learned.
While finding one's place,
Many trials one must face.
Choices are made, good and some bad,
Emotions from purely happy to terribly sad.
Mistakes will be made,
And time will fade,
Hearts that are full of regret
Will move on, but never forget.
All of our days of joy and strife,
Make up the Mystery we call Life.
