The sound of silence shatters my ears

The sound of silence

Can someone tell me where it is I am going?... as I have lost my part... a sigh a signal anything... I have never been so desperate....

I wait as I go along...I stop but I must go on.... My footsteps following the sound of my heart... where it leads my mind will not speak.... It's as if my mind conspires against my heart and my heart against my mind...... I feel the emptiness lingering above me in the big orchard trees...as they hang low... though it offers me its shade from the light it exposes me to such darkness...

There are no voices no sounds no echo's no chatters no one talking no one whispering... but through this deafening absence of noise there is something I hear.... something I hear so loud it shatters my ears....

It is the sound of silence.........
