This is how I feel about someone...

tender,
soft,
amazing,
you know my soul,
I love your laugh,
sweet as cherries are your kisses,
your eyes are pools of mystery,
leading me into the unknown,
I long for a closer look,
yet I dare not get close enough,
for inside I am missing something,
there is a permanent crack,
I want to need you,
I want to trust you,
but yet I still cannot,
you are everything in my dreams,
I love the warmth of your smile,
but I dare not get too close,
for fear of being burned once again,
to me, you are more then a friend,
but I cannot love you...
