Short poem of sadness

The darkness of the sun blinds me
Because I see, because I see
A step away from the abyss
A thought away from the fall
A word away from the end
From the end of it all

And then one darkness
And one forest
One deep hole
And one sweet cord

The bitter breath
Revives the soul
An angry sigh
A raging mind

But in a fist
An hidden light
A faerie, a bird
A secret life, a secret dream
A never-ending hope
Which sometimes hides
But never disappears.
