Broken

I needed to express some feelings.

Emptiness of body
of mind
of soul
that's all she knows anymore
he wasn't what she thought could fill the void
he wasn't enough to make her whole

So she ran
out of fear
and of confusion
she left without reason
left him standing there
with his heart on the ground

She is so broken
So lonely
and so scared
She holds on to what she thinks she had in the past
It keeps her alive
But it's slowly killing her all at the same time

Now she sits here again
Looking up into the sky
Day dreaming and asking why
He was so perfect
And he meant so much
how could he have taken him

Scared
Confused
Alone
and
Broken
She cries.
