Dogwood Blossom

A walk in the woods with camera, I discover a moment with a dogwood blossom.

Walking quietly
With camera in hand
Waiting for nature
To dramatically
Show me grand;

I almost didn't see it
The delicate blossom
In the wind
Blowing so delicately
That its petals
Couldn't be still

Long enough for my lens
To capture the moment in time
That the delicate dogwood blossom
Froze forever in my mind.
