A night under the starry sky ~ so blissful

Gazing across a star~filled sky
illuminated on a moon~less night -
a scrumptious feast for my hungry eye;

embarking on a magical flight -
destined for faraway places -
mind is saturated with sheer delight.

Connecting stars form into friendly faces -
enticing me into their land -
welcomed by their warm embraces;

guiding me with an out~stretched hand -
leading the way to a scenic plateau -
where the view is breathtakingly grand;

quasars demonstrate their ability to glow -
rising sun forces a short~term good~bye -
finale of pulsars end tonight's show.
