This is the first poem I ever wrote and it's about remembrance day tell me what you think!

Remember

Remember all who fought
Remember all who died
May their hearts and souls
Live on in pride

What they did for you and me
To help make our country free
The best that it could ever be
Remember the families that suffered
Remember the pain they lived in
There were tears shed and fears spread
Did we really win??

Open your hearts let the souls
Of soldiers live on in all of us
Because one is what we will become

Close your eyes and dream
Because today you shall not scream
Today we will spread our wings and fly
We will soar into the sky

Black or white, brown and all
It doesn't matter we won't fall
Today we rise higher than high
We'll fill our hearts with love and pride

We will become one
We will all shine under the sun
Remember to take a step of hope and faith
Remember that we are and will always be
Free!!
