Depression Called

another way, I see depression

I never should have listened,
when I heard it call my name.

But, I stopped for just a second,
I guess that's all it takes.

'Cause, by the time I turned around
it was standing over me,

with wanting, eyes' staring up,
and down my sanity!

In just a few short minutes
all I'd known was gone,

lost, to this enormous cloud,
that seems to linger on.
