Writer's Block

Ever had a writer's block?

Sitting here thinking,
No ideas am I making.
Dragons,
Elves,
Dwarfs,
Gnomes.
I need an idea.
A plot,
An outline.
Maybe a damsel in distress waiting for her knight,
Maybe an evil queen watching as her world falls into ruin.
I just don’t know.
My mind is blown.
I see light peeking through the window.
Dawn has come.
No ideas are here.
A single word upon a page,
is all I need.
Something original,
Something that hasn’t been done.
Just something.
