This is a short poem about my dislike of the media. Touched up recently for a second time. |
| Oh praise thee great media, I'll send thee petulias, Yet I find it peculiar, that you’re full of such trivia, And all too familiar, that flash of hysteria! Why then am I filled with deliria? Opinions opinions you brighten my day, The wrong ones of course always hold sway, Distortion and misguidance will lead us astray, Whose voice will be loudest today? For attention they scaremonger, to satisfy the public hunger To warn that our liberty some seek to plunder, its parts left asunder They must wake us from our slumber, for none enjoy being left to ponder! What spell is this that we’re all under? |
