Death's Death-bed

An end to an end

In my time of self mourning
I leave myself to you
Take my body and bury it
as deep as my thoughts that follow
Bring my coffin to a dim and fearful place
only to keep the weak ones away
To not waste a tear and cry anywhere other
then from the heart
Keep your words and step away from my wings
They keep death near and life so far away
Play a sound of silence as the ones who knew me
show a respect and grief
Listen to the tears and walk away only to forget me
