A poem about the teddy bear my great grandpa gave to me. |
| (This is dedicated to my late great grandpa, William) Teddy Bear When I was young, I was given a teddy bear, My great-grandpa picked it out with care, To this day it's still my favorite gift, When I look at it, into memories I drift, I'd drag it along wherever I'd go, Through sunshine, rain, and even snow, Bruno, was his name, He was there in every game At the end of the day, After all of our play, My mom would smile as she tucked me in, For there he'd be, snug under my chin, I know that I'll give him away, To the children I'll have someday, I hope that they are filled with love and care, As I am, for my special teddy bear. |
