My daughter and how she has changed since she moved out |
| Who Are You? I look into her eyes They used to be so crystal blue Who are you? You never look straight in my eyes anymore with integrity-most of time not at all Who are you? Your clothes so tattered all wrinkled on your body, picked up from the pile of clothes in your bedroom I dare see anymore. Afraid of what I may find. Who are you? Are you too tired to care, used up from the drugs and confusion in your life? Still so young and full of life, only your soul is to know. Growing up to fast for your mind to keep up Who are you? Am I ever to know you again, the way that we used to be? Will you wake up from this delusion of being "grown up" and come back to reality? Who are you? The crystal has dissapated from those beautiful eyes They seem so shattered from your broken innocence Who are you? (please come back) |
