and you hung up the phone
you probably didn't notice
but I stayed on and listened to you hang up,
knowing I left your thoughts
that moment you set the phone down.
I'm not sure what it is
but theres things you didn't say
that you should, or needed to.
And why does the late night hours
always feel like the end?
I'm not sure what I'd want you to say...
but I wish you'd call back again.
