what do you see (wake up call)

Im Egyptian and I have just expanded my writing to include poetry so be easy on me.

lust for power
dust of humanity
non-existant compassion

starvation that occurs
middlenight quarrels
kids that suffer

wars that are enveloped
plots,conspiracies that are unravelled
cries of wives unsettled

nations are condemned
for one man's attempt
while he tries to reinvent

new methods to end
the world and befriend
the devil

wake up call
look deep into ur soul
before u rise and fall

tragedy surrounds us
we shouldn't accept this
false credibility of media press- conferences

death awaits us
opens it's hand wide
in order to embrace us

open ur eyes
open up wide
and take a look around

what do u see

prevailed peace
occupied seas
locked chains with no keys
or the reminder of bitter sweet dreams
