My Hero

I wrote this when my Dad was part of Iraqi freedom, now he's gone again.

My Hero

To me a hero is someone who changes the lives of others for the better.
A hero must be kind, gentle, loving, and patient.  Understanding and honorable at the same time.
A hero must not be afraid to stand up for what they believe in, even if it means fighting for it.
A hero may not be world renown but to those that have been touched they mean the world to.
How can one spot a hero?  Just ask the people around those who seem to fit the bill and they will be able to tell you.
Who do I think is a hero, any man or woman in the armed services.
But who is my hero?  Well that is easy, my Daddy, Li!
