Love

Love is when your heart aches for his voice and touch
When you yearn to feel his breath and his touch
Love is being sad when has gone
To hold him and be with him when things are wrong

Love is having to say sorry that I was not near
But to feel comfort that in your heart he is near
Love is the light that brightens the day
Love is the hope that chases fear away

Love is what others have and I cannot possess
Its what I feel in my heart I can do best
Love is what other can have and feel
But to me love at times seems so unreal

My heart aches for someone to say
I love you and finally make my day
Love is what must be my chase
But each day I struggle to keep the pace
I will chase and seek a love to keep
But in my heart I know I will not catch it before I sleep.
