In remembrance of Callie Cat

Ball of fur orange and white
Running in my apartment at night
Full of love and energy and bliss
Its your snuggles that I will miss

Your playful purring brought me delight
Your warm fur made me feel safe at night
Unselfish and full of love
In my heart I know you watch from above

Though your time with me was not so long
You filled my days with love from your purring song
I miss the meows that broke the silent night
Though I wondered if you were alright
with relief when a saw you bounding in
knowing you were safe and in my arms again

I will miss your soft colorful fur
How can my mind express my love when its all a blur
Taken from me too soon and that’s not right
But I know your safe and making others life bright

You will be missed more than I can say
How my heart yearns to hold you just one more day
Bye now my soft furry friend
I will see you again when my time ends.
