Trapped

Wrote fairly quickly, interpret in your own way :)

Can't breathe,
The walls close in,
The noise around me smothers,
My ears scream
I stifle a yell.

Nowhere to go,
Nothing I can do,
The heat intensifies
The desert is busy - yet shrinks by the second.

Trapped. Caged In.
Crammed in like Chickens
In the battery farm of souls.
No escape.

The heat overcomes me,
The space now so small,
The voices so loud...
I fall. It both petrifies and relieves me.

I have given up the struggle,
Am caged, but free at last.
