Funny Childrens Poem

Out in the sagebrush
Out on the range
I discovered a creature
Peculiar and strange

A buffalo? sort of -
But frankly, much greater
This beast is part Bison
And partly potater

The Potuffalotater -
Peculiar indeed
For months now I've studied
This new and rare breed

The climate is harsh here
Out in the hot sun
About half of the herd
Is... well... almost done

I wish I could help them
I fear for their lives
(But just in case -
I've got some butter and chives)
