| Love that Feels like Glass Across your Throat Love that feels like glass across your throat Sometime comes in through the front door Don’t be mistaken it doesn’t stay very long Unless it serves you in a way of usefulness It is by your choice that it sticks around and It is by your choice that it tempts you… Love that feels like glass across your throat Smiles…kisses & caresses you like the wind of Oya and consumes your body with fire like Chango But does not guide, guard or protect you It does not care & nurture you Nor does it holistically love you Love that feels like glass across your throat Often times comes in through the back door, Walks into your Soul… creeps up the steps to your mind And poisons every cell of your thoughts Love that feels like glass across your throat Pierces your heart with its sharp point and leaves you Bleeding and fighting for your life 10.19.07…ndiamoon |
