Friends

I wrote this poem several years ago as I knew that one day it would happen.

Friends forever you said,
I knew that this was not meant,
How could you,
You let a girl come between our friendship,
Then it happened,
We repelled like opposite ends of a magnet,
Friends no more you said.
This I knew that you meant.
