In Dedication to the Great Lady

my dedication chant, written when I dedicated my life to my chosen patron Goddess

I had a dream that the darkest night
was shattered by a blinding light
I had a dream of you that would not go away
even in the light of day.
My feet have brought me to the gates of Llyr
ne’er again shall my soul know fear
our essences combine, two beings into one.
Still, my journey has just begun.
The veil is thin the clouds pass by
I look upon a different sky
I’ve seen things I’ve never seen before
I‘ll see through new eyes ever more.
On my knees I shall bow to you
my lips shall utter only the truth
May I strive to live my life in your name
may my heart beat with the strength of the same.
I dedicate my soul’s journey to you
may my intentions always be true.
May my power be natural and pure
may my faith in you help me to endure
