When a dear friend vanishes, leaving only questions and sadness behind.
You have faded off into the void...
walked the broken path to the isthmus of nowhere
leaving all behind to wonder
whence it is you have vanished to,
what had happened to distill your essence
such that we vainly grasp
yet find nothing
except a wisp of words.

Where have you gone, my friend?
