Nothing from Nothing

The culmination of an arguement I once had, with one who is, no longer.

  The point of distraction is to divert.  It serves it's purpose by doing just & only that and needs no other validation.  It doesn't have to have a reason or excuse - does not need to prove worth or stability, stamina - need not possess any other standard used in measurement.  A distraction need only to turn my head another direction long enough to break eye contact.
