Shades of Night

This is actually my sisters work, but it was so incredible I had to share it haha.

Shades of Night

Blue, purple, black and grey
The dull and dismal tones of day
But clouds of orange, pink, and white
Are followed by the shades of night

The shades of night, falling fast
How could the sun ever last?
The opaque darkness all around
Like the blackest mist above the ground

The darkness, my hiding spot
Which keeps me safe when I am not
The safety of the blachest shield
The vision of the darkest field

The midnight moon, shining bright
Piercing through the shades of night
The light is walking through open doors
Now my darkenss is safe no more
