She Waits

Feelings expressed for love and life lost.

I sit alone on this night
In my darkened room
Writing these silent words
That mystery consumes

I miss my love
and hate my life
but I must survive
Until the inner darkness
Forever consumes my light

Death will release me
From my living flesh
My Soul will leave my body
With my last breath

To wander this world
Alone and unaware
That my passing was in vain
