my twilight world seems realer than awakening
there is a closeness in my closeted self
that expresses itself differently
when i see it it from the other side
i stay with you now
i love you
i've told you that often
but it's water down a window pane
trailing its misty self to the frame and beyond
i want to taste you
and feel your hands touching me
like they did before
