He drinks his whiskey as though it were water
It consumes him like a parasite
But he has problems
so it's ok

He gave his wife a black eye and kicked his teenage daughter in the ribs
May have raped his nine-year-old daughter
But the cops just turn their heads
Because he has problems
so it's ok

He'll point out anyone who is gay as if they are a murderer
He'll accuse even the most innocent, of horrible crimes
His mistakes are always because someone else has hurt him
He has problems
so it's ok

He's not an alcoholic, because he does not go to AA
He's not violent-- his family deserves all those bruises
They'll tell you themselves
