just wrote this, just some feelings

In the distant light, an altered state

These questions inside, crumble and fade

The colors of this world begin to burn

Look away but from this I can't turn

How is beauty held in Evil

We will never learn

Yet I'm lost in this nothing

Where everything means I'm gone

There's only me here, alone

This world cold and stone

Change walks away in abandon

Love fails to win

Hope falls through contentment

In condescending blasphemy

How can the ones I love be so far

When I hold them so close in my heart

The answers escape me

I will never be the same

I'm just someone else now

One more to take the blame

As I give away my thoughts to them

The ones who know my name

I drift even farther here

As this nothing draws near
