Choices

This was the first poem I ever wrote ..it's been four years

Choices

Every choice we make,
Every thing that we have done
Will affect our lives in many ways
And these issues we have to overcome

In life you have to make a choice,
To say 'yes' or 'no'
And while you live your life
Other people will notice these choices shall show.

We have challenges every day
They come as raging waves
They toss and turn your ship
And they may leave you in dismay

We have to think of our choices
Are they foolish or wise?
Then you have to think to yourself
How you see them in your own eyes

So take heed of what these next words say
For they may blow your mind
Consult in the Lord everyday
And the answers of the choices you will find.
