I was sitting in English 10, and was reading quotes and that's where this came from.

My Own Light
It is hard now to go without love when I had it all to myself for so long. I spend lonely nights in silence thinking of how it had been and thinking what if statements that always run through my head. I need someone there to light my way when it’s dark,to be my wings so I can fly,to lift me up when I’m down. You were my light, and my wings and now it is dark and I can’t see the road ahead with my security gone, but I will get through this I will make my own light and find my way down that road. I will come out on top. I will fly on my own wings. Maybe someday you will cross my road again, maybe we can pick up where we left off, but in the meantime I will make my own light.
