A first date that lead to a great love!!

Remember our first date, it wasn’t your plan
But you went out with a very strange man.

We went to hear the kid’s band play
That was sure a life changing day.

I tried by best to hold your hand
Believe it or not that was unplanned.

To get close to you I would not go wrong.

The evening went on, and soon it was gone
I wasn’t to leave you with merely a yawn.
