Revolution shaped the world we live in today

Being heroic and being a heretic
Neither survives in these silenced days
Trying to save one from a lunatic
But a saviour is given no praise
Masked thoughts and angels fake a smile
A fatal act is ensuing
Gone are times to gloat and beguile
Thirsty for our redress and rebirth
From a false empire, binding the earth
Free the river and break the dam!
Dont you ask us to be calm
Twist and crunch, boil and burn
We will see the menace overturned
The treason, the blood, the fire
The book of days tells no lie
And our salvation will be entire
Defiance will win back the light
And our triumphs will be many
Yes, liberation is clearly in sight
When we fight the real enemy
